Sigrid R. Boggan is a staff attorney at Brown and Barron, LLC.

Prior to joining Brown and Barron, Sigrid interned with the Charles County Office of the Public Defender, serving low-income individuals in the local community. While there, she wrote motions and briefs that were successful in dismissing charges and suppressing evidence and statements in several cases.

Sigrid graduated from Howard University School of Law in Washington, DC, where she earned her Juris Doctor. She is also a recent graduate of Georgetown Law Center with a Master of Law in General Taxation.

During law school, Sigrid served as the President of the Huver I. Brown Trial Advocacy moot court team, which allowed her to hone her litigation skills through competing against other law schools. She also served as Clerk of the Langston Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta.

Originally from Alabama, Sigrid supported herself throughout law school by working two part-time jobs while balancing the coursework and extra-curricular activities.

Prior to law school, Sigrid graduated Cum Laude from the University of West Alabama with a bachelor’s in business administration. She went on to work in a managerial position at a financial institution before starting law school.
