    Fantastic Firm for Tough Situations
Brown and Barron LLC is a fantastic firm to have on your side during tough and sensitive situations involving your family. Our family came to Barron & Brown during a difficult time in 2021. We are 5 siblings and were dealing with an issue of neglect and did not want the business's actions to go unaddressed. After careful internal family discussion, we selected Brown and Barron, LLC to represent us. Upon meeting the attorneys for the first time, we felt at ease. They quickly addressed all our concerns and calmed our nerves. Our second thoughts about bringing an action were quickly replaced with confidence to move forward. The attorneys made sure we understood the firm worked for our family and that our voices mattered. They made sure we understood everything, and we controlled the direction of our case. Over the next few years, the firm connected with us often. We knew this process would take time and could be a little unnerving, but they always made sure we were in the know. Brown and Barron kept us informed about where our case stood and what actions were being taken at any given time. At critical points during the process, we received a call, an email, or met in person to discuss the situation and receive advice. As the case moved forward and we began formal legal proceedings, they educated us on the process, allowing us to fully understand what the purpose behind any given event was. We were thoroughly educated on the legal proceedings and where we stood overall. Everyone in the firm from the legal assistants to the paralegals, to the attorneys themselves was gracious and showed empathy and sympathy for our case. They made sure to get to know us as a family and as individuals. They took nothing for granted, making sure we were comfortable in all phases of the process. They were always available and made sure we knew their doors were open. As we closed out the case, they walked us through the final phases and answered any lingering questions we had. Even during the last meeting, they told us that even though we completed the process, they were still our firm and would be there for us. Overall, the experience was outstanding, and we are very pleased with the firm. We highly recommend Barron and Brown, LLC to anyone looking for a firm for an issue of neglect or any of the other areas they cover. They are a 5-star firm giving 5-star service. You will not be disappointed in choosing them to represent you.

    Common Questions
    • How can nursing homes prevent malnutrition?
To prevent malnutrition, nursing homes should provide balanced and appealing meals, assess residents' nutritional needs, monitor their food intake, and ensure they have the necessary help during mealtimes. Addressing special dietary requirements and regularly evaluating residents' health can significantly reduce the risk of malnutrition within the facility.
    • Can family members help prevent malnutrition?
Family members can play a vital role in preventing malnutrition by staying informed about their loved one’s dietary needs, monitoring weight changes, and communicating concerns with nursing home staff. They can also encourage balanced eating habits and advocate for nutritional assessments and personalized meal plans to ensure appropriate care.
    • What causes malnutrition in care facilities?
Malnutrition in care facilities can result from inadequate food quality, insufficient care staff to assist during meals, and lack of individualized dietary planning. Other factors include residents' medical conditions that affect appetite or digestion and insufficient monitoring of food intake. Proper staff training and nutritional assessments can help mitigate these causes.
    • How to address malnutrition in nursing homes?
Addressing malnutrition in nursing homes involves conducting regular nutritional assessments, ensuring meals meet residents' dietary needs, and involving dietitians or nutritionists in care planning. Providing assistance during meals and educating staff about recognizing malnutrition signs are also critical steps in effectively managing residents' nutritional wellbeing.
