Kristen Mack Welcomes The Daily Record’S Leading Women Award

We are excited to announce that The Daily Record selected our very own Kristen M. Mack to receive one of the 2019 Leading Women awards. The Daily Record is a 131-year-old multimedia news source based in Maryland. The journal honors leading Maryland professionals with annual awards such as Maryland’s Top 100 Women, Influential Marylanders, and Most Admired CEOs. Their Leading Women award, launched in 2010, recognizes the accomplishments made by 50 women who are 40 years of age or younger. These women are selected by a panel of previous Top 100 Women and Leading Women award winners. The panel considers the following factors when selecting honorees:
  • Education and career history
  • Mentoring experience
  • Membership in professional organizations
  • Awards and accolades
  • Community involvement (e.g. volunteering in civic/nonprofit organizations)
  • Commitment to creating change in the community

The Daily Record established the Leading Women award to distinguish the next generation of Maryland’s female leaders.

“The 2019 Leading Women excel in their professional lives and in service to their communities,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “They juggle tough jobs, family commitments, community service, mentoring, education and a host of other priorities. Their tremendous accomplishments are but a prelude to many more in the future. The Daily Record is pleased to recognize them for their accomplishments.”

As an associate at our firm, Kristen Mack has helped her clients recover millions of dollars in compensation for their injuries. In recognition of her exemplary work earlier this year, she was named to the 2019 Maryland Rising Stars list.

In addition to her contributions to Brown & Barron, LLC, Mack is an active member in the following organizations:

  • Maryland Association of Justice
  • Maryland State Bar Association
  • Bar Association of Baltimore City
  • University of Baltimore School of Law Alumni Association

According to The Daily Record’s publisher, Mack and the other 2019 Leading Women honorees “are Maryland’s future. They are professionally successful at a young age and are also committed to making a difference and inspiring change. These women are simply extraordinary, and The Daily Record is pleased to honor them.”

Kristen will be honored at the organization’s reception and dinner on December 2nd, as well as in a special magazine in the December 3rd issue of The Daily Record.
